This refreshing watermelon banana smoothie is both delicious and easy to prepare.
For a richer smoothie, skip the ice and use frozen fruit instead.
Ingredients
a cup of diced fresh watermelon
banana, fresh or frozen, 1 medium
14 cup almond milk, unsweetened
For a thicker smoothie, use half a cup of crushed ice.
Method
A high-powered blender or food processor should be used to combine the diced watermelon, sliced banana, almond milk, and ice together.
All components should be blended at a speed of medium-high until well-combined. If you over-blend, the ice will turn into water and the smoothie will be too thin, so don't do that.
In order to serve, pour the blended drink into a large glass (16 ounces). Serve at once.
