KKD has shared his regret in choosing his wife and family over his job.
According to the renowned Ghanaian broadcaster, he put his wife ahead of his well-paying work in Ghana, but that was not the best move to save his marriage. He disclosed that he once traveled to the United Kingdom on weekends to have sexual relations with his wife, who refused to return to Ghana.
"If I could go back in time, one of the decisions I would make differently is to give up my work and go to the United Kingdom with my wife and our three children. If I were in charge, I wouldn't have divorced her. However, we might have been able to find a solution to this problem," he stated.
He told Anthony Dzamefe on the show A Father's Day Out that he used to be the general manager of a well-known company in Ghana while his wife and two children lived in the UK because she couldn't find work in Ghana.
In a report by 3news.com, the senior broadcaster, whose real name is Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, said that his wife wouldn't come back from a trip abroad, so he had to go to the UK often to check on his family.
"I used to buy tickets and travel on weekends just to see my family and make love to my wife. I was young and had enough money. So why not?" KKD asked. "I was tired of our long-distance relationship."
So I decided to leave my job and return to my family's home.
To save his marriage, he says, the position provided him with a house, a corporate car, a chauffeur, and a nice pay. Mohammed must travel to the mountain if the mountain refuses to come to him.
